The Hole in Our Gospel reports that a child dies every 21 seconds from a water-related disease. This amounts to nearly 6,000 deaths, or the equivalent of 20 jumbo jets crashing every day. Do our senators and representatives understand that these little ones in our global community are still precious in our eyes, yet are dying every day?

Join Living Water International’s “One Dollar Water” Community

OneDollarWater is a community of people who set aside $1 a day to provide clean drinking water. Resources given through OneDollarWater are used to rehabilitate wells all over the world.

According to Living Water International, these wells, originally drilled by governments or other organizations, usually provide water to 1,000 people once repaired. Many of these wells cost $15,000 to drill years ago, but are useless in their present condition.
