WHAT’S YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFT?

So…Mother Teresa you’re not. That’s OK. Day 18 is all
about aligning your volunteer work with your passion.
What’s your spiritual gift? Here are just some of the
gifts described in the New Testament: giving, evangelism,
leadership, mercy, teaching, administration, faith,
helps and hospitality.
Our Sovereign God gives every Christ-follower one
or more spiritual gifts. (You don’t choose. He does.)
So, if you are volunteering outside of your comfort level,
it’s possible that you are trying to serve outside of your
spiritual giftedness. That’s a bad idea and only
leads to discouragement.
You can read more about spiritual gifts in Romans 12,
1 Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4. They are also
many excellent Christian books on spiritual gifts.
